You can switch at London Victoria to make connections to Heathrow, with the full journey typically taking about 1 1/4 hours and costing a fraction of what a taxi cab would cost.
The town is also crisscrossed by dozens of bus lines, including London Bus routes 50, 130, 198, 250, 450, 468, 663, N68, N250 and X68. If you are heading to the continent the Bromley South station and the Southeastern Line is just a short drive away with plenty of long term parking in the area. And, of course, if you love to drive, and work in London centre, The City is just a half-hour jaunt due north up the Old London Road (A23).
